Account Contact Addresses

Different types of contact addresses may be listed on your account with FutureQuest. The purpose of each type of contact address is explained below, as well as information on how you can modify, or add to, the contact addresses listed on your FutureQuest account. |
Primary Email Address:
The primary email address is always required and is initially set as the email address used when placing the order with FutureQuest. The primary email address has virtual control over the account and is the only email address authorized to make administrative changes to the account, such as ordering new services, cancelling services, requesting upgrades or downgrades, changing the password, and updating contact information or email addresses associated with the account.
The primary email address is also the email address of the person who has agreed to the FutureQuest Terms of Service (TOS) and who is considered by FutureQuest to be the responsible party for the account.
All important notices, such as billing notices, warnings of TOS violations, or any urgent matter regarding the account will be emailed to the primary email address on file for the account.
Secondary Email Address:
The secondary email address is used when trying to establish contact with the primary account holder when attempts to contact via the primary email address have failed.
The secondary email address cannot order or cancel services, request upgrades or downgrades, or make changes to the passwords, contact information or email addresses associated with the account.
However, the secondary email address will receive copies of all deactivation notices and may also receive copies of TOS notices or other urgent notices regarding the account in order to ensure that the primary account holder is aware of the situation to take the steps necessary to resolve it directly with FutureQuest.
Technical Email Address:
The technical email address is authorized to request technical support for the account directly from FutureQuest via the Service Desk.
The technical email address cannot order or cancel services, request upgrades or downgrades, or modify contact information or email addresses associated with the account. The technical email address does not automatically receive billing notices from FutureQuest, however they may receive copies of TOS notices or other urgent notices regarding the account in order to ensure that the primary account holder is aware of the situation to take the steps necessary to resolve it directly with FutureQuest.
Billing Email Address:
The billing email address will receive copies of all invoices from FutureQuest, as well as any deactivation notices as a result of a delinquent account.
The intended use of this address is to facilitate the sending of invoices to an accounting department or other party that processes payments for the account. However, please note that any discussions about account standing or billing disputes must be handled through the primary contact for the account.
News and Alerts Email Address:
The news and alerts email address is used for broadcast communication with regard to general news and notices concerning FutureQuest's Network and Services. In the event that you do not designate an email address to be used for news and alerts, the primary email address will be used.
Note: FutureQuest will only send these communications to the news and alerts address--copies of the emails will not be directed to other email addresses on the account.
Pager (SMS) Email Address:
The pager email address is used only in the case of an urgent situation where immediate action has been taken against the account, such as if the account has been hacked, disabled in some manner due to adversely affecting other sites on the server, or other extreme situation.
It is not used for billing matters, general Terms of Service (TOS) violation notices, or routine communications.
Correspondence sent to the pager email address will also be sent to the primary email address on the account.
