MySQL Disk Space Size or Table Limits
Posted on 27 January 2004 11:29 PM
Question:

Are there disk space limits that apply to each MySQL database?

What about table limits?

Answer:

There is no disk space limit imposed on each database. The disk space being used by each database is simply counted against the disk space included with your package. If you choose to use the majority of your package's disk space with MySQL, you can do so.

There is a limit of 500 tables per database, however it is unlikely that you would ever reach that limit.
